Finding Maths outside the Classroom

This workshop will consider the potential of the ‘educationally’ rich environment around you, thinking about how the school grounds might relate core subjects. Taking children out of the classroom adds excitement to our teaching. Going out into the wide world changes relations between you as a teacher, your class and what they are learning. These workshops will consider how we can help pupils engage in activities to promote literacy in a meaningful way

Time: 12.30pm - 4.00pm

Venue: Shortstown Primary School, Bedford
